Undergraduate Research Opportunities. We provide our students, and students from across Penn State, the opportunity to perform undergraduate research and work with faculty on cutting-edge research projects. More than 75 undergraduate researchers enroll in Independent Research each semester and gain valuable experience working in a lab. Penn State research institutes and other organizations offer seed grants along with other internal and external funding opportunities for faculty.
